As we look back on recent years of impactful partnerships, we’re proud to highlight a milestone from 2022: Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust was named a Finalist in the Best Workplace for Learning and Development at the Nursing Times Workforce Awards. This recognition, based on a bespoke programme delivered in partnership with Engaged Consultancy, demonstrates the value of our approach to co-designed staff development.

The finalist nomination was awarded for the “Towards Race Equity: Leading Through Engagement” masterclass series. This leadership development programme was created and facilitated by Engaged Consultancy, supporting NHS staff to develop inclusive leadership skills, explore anti-racist practice, and drive meaningful organisational change through active engagement and reflection.

Our collaboration with Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is a strong example of how we work closely with organisations to design programmes that are both evidence-based and tailored to their specific goals and workplace culture. The nomination recognised the tangible outcomes of our approach and highlighted how targeted leadership support can help teams achieve more equitable, engaged, and forward-thinking workplaces.

We are thrilled to see the achievements of this partnership recognised at a national level. This acknowledgement reflects our ongoing commitment to helping healthcare organisations strengthen their leadership, empower their teams, and build cultures that prioritise fairness, learning, and inclusion.
